My girlfriend decided she wanted to put together a video for her grandparents who are both deaf. The sign language may not be perfect only cause it’s really hard to not get distracted when you’re not signing to an actual person. Typically, she’s almost fluent in ASL. I on the other hand did this for the very first time so I’m not too good at all.

this song is included in one of my most vivid childhood memories. i remember listening to it on the car radio (windows down, on blast) while playing in my aunt and uncles driveway in Arizona, it was really warm and sunny so im guessing it was summertime? it came out in ‘96 so i was about three or four at the time. every time i hear this song it gives me this feeling that brings me back to that moment. i don’t exactly know why i’m sharing this, but sometimes i miss the 90’s and being a little kid.

so let me tell you about my night thus far: Tonight at dinner was like one of those awkward family dinners that you see in movies, you know i kind when people ask questions like “how is -fill in the blank- going/doing?” or just questions they already know the answers to but ask anyways to keep the conversation going and then it turns out to be a one or two word answer and then its as if you can hear the wheels turing in everyones head trying to think of something to say? yeah, that was my thanksgiving dinner, i found it pretty amusing though. my sister, her boyfriend, and i kept looking at eachother and trying to make each other laugh during the awkward silences. ah, life (:
